What To Bring

- Folding chair or stool if you want or use a tree stump.
- Food for 36 hours *
What we Supply
- Tent or Tarp (take your pick)
- Ground sheet
- Rope
- Camping mat
- Cooking stove (screw on gas)
- Cooking utensils
- Bushcraft knife
- * Food, we will be making a nice homely bushcraft pot for you to enjoy if you wish to do so, If you are vegetarian or other please bring all your own food. We will supply Tea, Coffee and Sugar, however, we only use powdered milk, so if you want to bring your own milk, not a problem.

Make your own way to the given location in East Sussex at your own costing. Our team will meet you and we will bring you to camp, its a short hike of about 1 mile.
Costing from Friday 16:00hrs to Sunday 13:00hrs is

Course Overview
Your Trusted Partner in Outdoor Adventure Training.
Learning a wide range of bush craft and wilderness skills. No prior experience is needed, but if you have plenty this is by no means just an introductory course, you’ll be amazed at how much you learn on our course
Timings: 16.00 hrs Friday to 13.00 hrs Sunday
Aged: 18 and above.
Pets: Sorry no pets.
Food: From dinner Saturday included
Location: Sussex Woods/Farm Land can also be booked for private courses.
Course Size: 8 maximum
Introduction, Admin, Camp Rules, Emergency Evacuation (Opening talk to students)
- Over the weekend you will learn:
- Fire lighting techniques.
- Shelter building, using tarps and natural materials, Tent Setups.
- Map and compass reading.
- Safe water collection and filtration techniques.
- Trees and plants ID, and some of their uses.
- A range of methods for cooking with a fire, we provide food from Saturday dinner. – We will cater for dietary requirements we are informed of.
- How to prepare a small bird or mammal for your dinner (as with all our sessions this is optional).
- Fire by friction.
- Safe knife use, including various techniques for splitting, and cutting larger sticks.
- Wild tea brewing and foraging in-season plants.
- On Sunday morning you will get a chance to test out all your new skills, as you forage for your own tea, collect and purify water and brew it over a fire you’ve made.
- No alcohol or recreation drugs allowed (smoking or vaping is allowed in designated areas).
Whats included on our weekend bush craft course:
- Expert Tuition – by our qualified team.
- The use of high quality tools.
- Food for group communal cooking from Saturday evening – dietary requirements can be catered for – please let us know at time of booking.
- The choice of a tarp or natural shelter to sleep in.

- camp emergency and evacuation
- personal hygiene
- camp layouts
- fire by friction
- shelter building
- camp set up using tents, bivvy bags and tarps
- roping and knots
- basic map reading
- first aid and getting HELP
- trapping small animals (theory)
- local edible and medicinal plants
- water collection and purification
- basic first aid
- creating a survival kit for your backpack and more...
- basic land navigation utilizing the sun, stars, map and compass

MEDICAL FORM: You MUST fill in and submit a medical form once payed in full, it will be emailed to you, no medical form = no camp or other allowed. We take your privacy very seriously and it is kept by us for 3 months only.

It is kept safe and securely and handled sensitively to peoples data protection rights. You have the right to ask to see what data we hold for you, to ask us to correct it and also to ask us to remove it from our database. We do not share your data with any third party

Our team is made up of experienced outdoor enthusiasts and sister company who are passionate about what they do. We're here to help you plan your next adventure and choose the right gear for the job. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a first-time camper, we're here to support you every step of the way. Team leaders are experienced Bushcraft Leaders and Ex British Forces who hold qualifications in First Aid, Compass Map & Reading, Camp - Hiking Leadership and are members of the British Mountaineering Council, MTA and The Institute for Outdoor Learning. We carry £1.5M Public Liability Bushcraft, Camping and Hiking Insurance.
